Aesop Chair

I am the joint holder of the “Aesop Chair” in philosophy, along with professor Christian Leduc. You can visit his site here.

BACKGROUND

Thanks to an anonymous donation, the University of Montreal was able to create the “Aesop Chair” in philosophy. It was the donor’s wish to encourage philosophical study and research through a position named in honour of Aesop, the ancient Greek writer of fables. The first Aesop Chair was Frederic Bouchard (2014-2016), professor of philosophy of science and philosophy of biology.
